Postage rates Guernsey to Jersey during the WWII Occupation
Following the display given on the 10th May on ‘The Guernsey Bisects from WWII’ a question remained. What was the postage rate from Guernsey to Jersey during this period? The display included a couple of items with bisected 2d stamps, making the postage rate 1d, but this was meant to be the internal rate within Guernsey and they were to Jersey addresses. However there is no evidence to confirm or otherwise whether they were sent to Jersey. Any comments would be most welcome.

You could not make it up
This piece is an actual story from a member as you could hardly make this sort of thing up and get readers to believe it. A CSPS Member asked a stamp dealer if they had any George V Seahorses to which the reply was ‘I don’t do thematics. I may have a few sea lions though’.
