Editor’s Introduction

It hardly seems possible that I am writing another introduction to our Bulletin. This edition contains the AGM Minutes and Accounts and an announcement about the Postal Auction 2011. There is also important news about the Exchange Branch, which has had to be re-arranged following the resignation as EBS Single Country and Thematics Derek Ward due to ill health. Your Council has on behalf of the Society already formally thanked Derek for his many years of service and passes its best wishes to him and any other members who are under the weather.

The Society is sorry to record the passing of Messrs R F Barnes, Ron Bull, A Cox, RD Dunderdale OBE and John Williams. An obituary for John Williams appears later in the Bulletin.

 

Thank you to those who have written to me since the last edition with articles and so on, they are much appreciated. It is, after all, your Bulletin.
